The Complete Organic Pregnancy

Sunday, August 13th, 2006

I love Barbara Kingsolver, so when I saw that she contributed to The Complete Organic Pregnancy I was thrilled to gobble up my advance copy of the book. (She, along with several other women, contribute short first person accounts of their feelings on being pregnant and trying avoid the increase of chemicals in our world.) This a great book for anyone entering this exciting stage of life. Full of great tips for choices to make, and pitfalls to avoid, the book has some great easy recipes and practical advice. The authors, Deirdre Dolan and Alexandra Zissu, put forth their information with a very gentle tone and let Moms everywhere know that organic is definitely the way to go but we’re all not perfect and sometimes …just sometimes… a little diet coke slips in.
